Roadbed and Track Down
By Backdrop Junction Blog | January 07, 2011 at 03:15 PM EST | No Comments

This is looking toward the left.  At front is the main line and then the run around track and the tail track. The setup for the industry tracks has been changed from what is here. Off the runaround are a pair of Peco #6 Turnouts going into an Atlas 19 degree crossing. THis makes switching the industries much easier and more logical. At the back left one of these tracks leads to what will be a lumber yard.  Just got the kit for Christmas along with six center beam flat cars.

Whip City Railroad

This is the current track plan for the Whip City Railroad.  Much input has been received from my friends Ron and Mike from the RR club. The peninsula is yet to be built.  It looks like this may get changed to a waterside pier with room for a small intermodal facility and perhaps a place for coal cars to receive loads from a barge.
